With technology comes difficulties, unfortunately we didn’t know that there was no private chat feature in breakout rooms, so allowing more time for me to message each student individually with a vocabulary word would have come in handy, but nevertheless, we prevailed and made the activity work. 

One thing that I noticed for myself personally is that when it comes to talking about different cultures that I don’t know much about, I’d prefer to step down and let someone who knows more take over. With being a teacher, I either need to do my research beforehand and more than just a quick search for surface facts, but dig deeper into the culture so I can be that authority in the room as I have to keep mind that fo some cultures, that is the way it is for them on a regular basis. With reflecting back on these aspect of the lesson, I can grow as a teacher and become much more confident with my teaching.
